Located in the historic Jindyandy Mill Precinct in Pyree, The Mill Marketplace is a permanent indoor market embracing makers, creators, artists, and local businesses- making it a must visit shopping locale for visitors to the South Coast/Shoalhaven who are seeking out local businesses and handmade products to support.
Embracing the pastoral surrounds, and the rustic interior of the 1830's first brick convict built mill, The Mill Marketplace showcases the unique range of local and handmade businesses the South Coast has to offer to this pocket of quaint coastal farmland.
The Mill Marketplace was founded in 2021 by owner and managing director of The Collective Beat, Sheree Bailey. It was love at first sight when Sheree visited The Mill Precinct, and she couldn't go past the opportunity to create a new South Coast shopping destination in such a uniquely beautiful and historical location.
The Mill Precinct is a destination in itself, and not just for its historical credentials. Set on a few acres of lush dairy farmland, it is home to the Jindyandy Lolly Shop, an antiques store full of hidden treasures to explore, the famous Greendale's Cafe serving delicious food using local produce, and the well known restaurant The Butter Factory. This historical tourist stop is easily accessible and is on the main road to Culburra & Callala Beach. Jervis Bay is only a 15 minute drive away, and did we mention that The Mill Marketplace is just a stone's throw from some of the Shoalhaven's best wineries?
